Mike is an experienced senior executive with 20+ years broad-based expertise developing Sales and National Accounts programs. He has continually exceeded revenue forecasts at diverse organizations including startup, early-stage, growth and Fortune 500 companies primarily in the medical device industry. He has an outstanding record for recognizing and creating new business opportunities and positioning companies to succeed.
Mike was most recently at SterilMed, a VC funded leader in the third party reprocessing industry where he was hired to establish the west coast sales channels. He was responsible for leading the company’s top sales region as Regional Business Director and was later promoted to lead the Western National Accounts team. During his tenure, SterilMed experienced rapid growth and grew from $5M to $80M and was subsequently acquired for $275M.
Prior to SterilMed, Mike founded Allergear, an allergy consumer products and consulting company. The company provided sales and marketing expertise to early-stage healthcare organizations. In 1998, Mike joined Influence Medical to introduce new products to the ENT market and to lead the company’s worldwide sales expansion. Influence was sold in 1999 to American Medical Systems. Previously, Mike held sales and sales management positions at Pentax Medical, Medtronic and Marion Laboratories.
Mike leverages his National Accounts and Sales background to help EHM clients gain access to GPO/IDN networks and to build targeted sales teams that allow for optimal hospital market penetration and sales growth. Mike’s extensive relationships and experience with medical industry executives allow clients access to high-level opportunities.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University and later received a Master’s degree in Health Administration.
