Vivek Bhargava, Senior Vice President, Global Business Solutions

Vivek Bhargava who is a global thought leader and a successful business professional in the healthcare industry founded global Footprints in 2011. Originally from India, he has spent the past 25 years building global business platforms in over 50 countries around the globe. He has held senior international roles at Baxter Healthcare, Allegiance Healthcare, Cardinal Health, and Devicor Medical Products, where he was most recently Vice President of Global Distribution Sales.

Vivek has demonstrated success in managing various aspects of international business including sales, marketing, business development, supply chain, legal and regulatory. He has strong capabilities in establishing businesses in major emerging markets across all geographic regions.

In addition to his work experience, Vivek has a strong educational background.  After completing his bachelors’ degree in Production Engineering from India, he graduated with an MBA from Virginia Polytechnic and State University and then continued to complete a MS in Merchandising Management with specialization in International Business from Michigan State University.

He has guest-lectured at universities on the topic of global expansion, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal in 2011. In 2008, he has was selected by the U.S. Commerce Department to join Illinois’ District Export Council, where he was active in supporting local companies seeking to grow their exports for Eight years.

Since the launch of Global Footprints he has successfully advised PE firms, large corporations, and small companies in U.S., Italy, U.K, U.A.E, India, Singapore, Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.

He is the founder of MedEvolution Inc. a medical products supplier and Global Business Circle, a global network of professionals in the healthcare industry.
